Elwell Studio worked with our client on Sketch Plans through Master Site Planning. Our focus was on terracing slopes to create flat, usable space for family and entertainment purposes. We utilized sweeping stone walls to carve out the grade which created large-scaled lawn terraces. Driveway entrance walls were created with likeness to the craftsman architectural style. The driveway parking area doubles as a plaza through the use of paving inlays and the articulation of the score pattern. A pool is located outside of the focal views, and tucked intro the existing grade. A water-feature was created as a back-drop element to the main lawn terrace.
